I have noticed recently that, on Mastodon, notifications cap out at 40+. This totally hides the fact that it may take an hour to read them all.
As I write this my Mastodon tab is beeping non-stop. This is because a few things I posted today are getting shared like wildfire. I have to say, it is a nice feeling. So many great conversations have been had.
As such, I have started a new category where I can document particularly lively reactions to my social media. I shall add it as a footnote to a few appropriate pages.
