This year I am attempting to hit 75,000 words by the 30th. That is a complete first-draft full-sized novel in 30 days.
I need to write 2,500 words a day. Today I have passed 3,000 so I am hopeful I can do this.
My main trick, so far, for word count has been knowing where the story is set, who is in the story, and roughly the events that might happen. On top of this, I am focused on details and general descriptions.
