I have been having fun imagining my setting as an affectionate parody of “Magic: The Gathering” realised as “Mad Science: The Get-together”.
As combat card games go it would have a large army of creatures that were mostly 0/1 with occasional 2/2 (such as Normal). This is the thing with the Mad Science setting, it does not lend itself very well to fighting as there is nothing that is ever resolved with combat. “S3: Mad Science” makes a point of this in that it has no combat mechanics at all.
That did not stop me imagining some mythic rares that would amount to “play this card to win”.
Of course, I had to do a little self-inserting with this card quite likely to be banned from tournament play. There is no way that this card cannot be abused to win the game in one turn by pretty much playing your entire library while nurfing the other guy into oblivion.
Silly, you say. Why, yes it is. Thank you for noticing.
