This year, I’m hitting my NaNoWriMo goals almost every day despite being ill.
In what has become a rather stunning change of events, I might be getting somewhat efficient. You know, like a real adult.
You can see from the graphic below that day two was not all that hot. Day two I was so unwell it hurt to even look at a screen for most of the day. Day four, too. But you could hardly see that from my word counts.
My only worry is I am a few chapters away from having no particular plot. I figured, that section would explain itself to me when I get there. Which it might. Plot points from “act one” are already getting pushed back to “act two” because there are so many things in play that it would be a shame to rush and miss the best bits.
